American Idol

The difference between the quality of American Idol contestants and AF6 is as huge as the ocean that lies between Malaysia and America. None of the AF6 students comes close to the likes of the ousted a hunk of burning yum Michael Johns, David Cook and David Arculetta. I predict and hope that the two Davids will be the final two contestants. If they were to become the finalists then it will be hard to predict who will take home the American Idol 7 title. If the majority of voters call for a rugged, rock-style, outside-of-box Idol then Cook would be the likely bet. If the voters go for cute, sweet, innocent Idol, Arculetta would be the one. Yet this is only my prediction. Who knows, it could be David C and Jason who move on to the finals or David A and Jason. Or perhaps one of the Davids with a female contestant. I hope not. I hope today and the next three weeks all the four girls will be sent home in this order: Cristy Lee Cook, Syeisya (or Syesya), Carly, Brookes, and then Jason. I don't think Jason would be an Idol who would sell millions of albums since we are not living in the sixties and hippies are a dying breed (I hope).

AF6 wise, I hope people will stop voting for Stanly, send the chap home and end his misery. I think this guy has been overrated because he is 'tenor'. He has not improved in fact has been going downward in his performance citing he is confused about his voice. His last two performances were simply horrendous. Also his mother is critically ill and I think being there by her side is better than trying to achieve fame. What fame can he actually get when people will remember him for not being able to sing well despite claiming to have been vocally trained. Anyway I would like to hear how he would deliver Nessun Dorma.

On another note...errr...Alif is beginning to look yummy
